Mk Dons
Sorinola was born in Lambeth. He is of English/Nigerian descent and is the eldest of four siblings.
Matthew joined Cray Wanderers based in the Kent League in the Under 7’s age group, then went on to Fulham FC Pre Academy, before signing for Fulham’s academy aged 8.
Matthew was later released by Fulham FC, aged 16 after a eight year affiliation to the club.

Royale Union
Throughout his time at Fulham, Matthew had played in the (Right Back) position. It was only until he joined MK Dons, aged sixteen on a two year scholarship program that he was able to express his versatility to be able to play in more than one position and more importantly further up the pitch as wing back.
Matthew had a fantastic season featuring for MK dons first in 2020/2021. This caught the attention of various football clubs in the top flight of English Football as well as RUSG (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise) that he officially joined on the 1st July 2021.
